Dr Anna Gatseva is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Bioinformatics Team at CERI. She specialises in human whole-genome sequencing (WGS), molecular diagnostics, and large-scale genomic data analysis for translational and public health research. Her work focuses on developing and applying robust bioinformatics pipelines to complex clinical genomic datasets, integrating sequencing and demographic data to support research and surveillance initiatives. Trained in genetics and genome engineering at the University of Glasgow, Anna combines wet-lab and computational expertise, with experience spanning CRISPR-based functional genomics, pathogen genomics, and diagnostic assay development in global health contexts.
