Ameera Crew is currently pursuing her Master\\\'s in Political Science with a keen interest in creative solutions for social issues. She has experience in communications and marketing, particularly in the areas of social media content creation, creative writing, and branding. Her role within the Public Squares is focused on managing social media platforms, marketing events, writing articles, and providing general administrative support.

She also forms part of the newly launched Social Science Unit at CERI where she brings a political lens to the work done at the unit. Beyond this, Ameera is a part-time Writing Consultant at the Stellenbosch University Writing Lab where she supports students to improve their writing process and the quality of their writing.
